In the months since the release of their last studio album Any Minute Now - Soulwax have stopped briefly approximately seven times, drunk copious amounts of coffee, sweated at approximately 120 live venues and festivals across the globe including spectacular slots at Glastonbury and Werchter festivals, rocked the roof off superclub Fabric and Canvas in London twice with full rock ballast.
Now from deep from inside their studio complex in Ghent comes their latest offering - Nite Versions, an entire album of brand new interpolations and reinterpretations of tracks from Any Minute Now. From electro to nu-beat to techno, via huge rock bombast, almost ethereal Roxy Music-esque wig-outs, clever vocal twists and club delirium as only Soulwax could deliver in one gigantic explosion of sound; the age of the glowstick rock is finally upon us.

How did you approach your Rock The Rabbit T-Shirt Design? We took the idea from the artwork for our album Any Minute Now which was designed by Trevor Jackson. It's inspired by op art: simple graphics, lines that trick the eye. All of us also like the original Playboy logo, so we didn't want to stray too far from that as well.
Do you have a favorite article of clothing? A T-shirt can be like an old friend. Warm, well-known and dependable.
Where did you pick up ideas about style and design? Is it related at all to your music? I consider myself the least stylish in the band, but other people would say I do have a certain style it's all in the eye of the beholder.
What does Playboy mean to you? When do you recall discovering Playboy? Playboy to me meant vaselined lenses, big hairdos and blurry curves. Now it means airport literature and a few other things.
Beatles or Stones? Both. Beatles for innovation and melody; Stones for rawness and sex appeal.
Were there bands you heard at a certain point in your lives that made a huge difference in how you thought about music? Beatles, Stones, Bowie, Virgin Prunes, Kraftwerk, GNR,ZZ Top, Captain Beefheart, Sly Stone, Serge Gainsbourg, the list is endless...
Who put on the best live show you ever saw, and why was it so good? Daft Punk last year at Werchter Festival in Belguim because I went mad-hysterical and had the biggest smile on my face during the whole show.
Do you guys have a pre-game ritual or a superstition before or during shows? Aside from ironing our shirts, drinking Earl Grey tea, and being on iChat with each other? No, not really.
At what point do you know a song is good? Do you ever have an idea you just know is going to kill? There's no formula, we like to break the rules.
What's the most exciting thing you've done in the past year as a result of your music career? Traveling the world and being able to pay (most) of the bills. Oh, and meeting nice people of course.
What's your favorite place on earth? Can't decide between Brazil or Australia. Ok, BRAZIL!
Best song you've been listening to lately? "Someone Great" by LCD Soundsystem
Favorite new band? Die Verboten
Favorite driving album? Dose by Latin Playboys
Favorite bedroom album? The Best of Vinicius De Moraes
How have the technology boom and the Internet affected the way you approach promoting your music? You can find a load of Soulwax stuff onlineit's leading a life of its own.
